Kanukie Community Picnic

We are celebrating 2024 and inviting in 2025 as a community! We'd love to connect with you off the mat and out of the studio.

You're invited to the Kanukie Picnic! Join us at the local Rarawera Retreat space along the Whenuapai River. Enjoy potluck picnic, sauna, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Get to know your fellow community members and teachers!

Come early (before 12pm, for a paddleboard or kayak to make the most of the higher tide) or skip this and join for sauna, cold showers, and relaxing on the grass!

Bring your swimsuit and towel, some beverages or nibbles to share! Come by for a bit or stay the whole time. We'll have picnic blankets, bean bags, picnic tables set up :) Your little ones are welcome to join.

Turn opposite of Bristol Road. Continue down driveway, past open gate. You'll see the sign Rarawera! Park on the grass behind the sign. See you there!
