Acro Yoga Gathering Sunday 10th March 11.30am - 1.30pm
What is Yoga Stops Traffick?
A one-day global yoga event created to raise awareness of and funds for the anti-trafficking organisation Odanadi Seva Trust. Odanadi is a pioneering anti-trafficking organisation based in Mysore, South India. Odanadi works for the rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration of trafficked women and children. For the past 25 years Odanadi has been committed to providing a safe haven for survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, slavery and domestic abuse.
There will be an opening circle and a vinyasa style practice, followed by the basics of acro yoga (or if you're more experienced a chance to play and share what you know - or you are welcome to stay and watch). We'll finish things off with some relaxation and live music. This event is aimed at being a positive community event where we have the opportunity to be the change we wish to see in the world, coming together to move, play, and share loving kindness with each other.
