About Restore & Rise:
This event will run for 2 hours and we plan to finish around 10.45am - providing slow time and space to integrate, enjoy more cacao, tea or chats with the local community.
The Restorative Yoga session will start with some gentle, slow movements to drop-into the body and breath, before moving through a series of long-held Restorative shapes, using all the props we have to offer - blankets, bolsters, blocks etc.
There will be dedicated space at the end for a guided meditation - you might be lying down for this, or in a comfortable seat.
Enjoy the soothing sounds of Stu Larsen - a professional musician, who will be performing his latest, live looping set, using a variety of natural, organic soundscapes, hypnotising loops, live guitar and piano, percussion, chimes, sound bowls and more. A gentle, calming atmosphere to drop you into a deeper experience.
This class is suitable for everyone; no previous experience required.

About Your Hosts
Luisa Schreiber
Luisa lives by Ayurveda and Yoga practices to support her mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health and growth and for her Yoga acts as a beautiful complement by helping her to relearn power and connection.
Luisa graduated as a Yoga Teacher from Jayayoga 200-hour training and completed another 100-hour Trauma-Informed Facilitator Training with Somapsych.
Her main practice is Ashtanga Yoga, a holistic meditative movement practice based on the foundations of Tristhana (Vinyasa, Bandha, Drishti) and rooted in the eight limbs path of Yoga.
She also loves the slow, deepening practice of Restorative Yoga, which she looks forward to sharing with you all this upcoming Easter Friday morning.
Stu Larsen
A professional musician and co-creator of Kanuka Yoga Space, Stu will be sharing his latest Live Sound Journey experience; something different that what you might have experienced in the past.
Using Ableton (a Digital Audio Workspace, or DAW) he'll be creating calming sound scapes using a variety of sounds, loops, percussion, live guitar and piano, chimes, sound bowls.
His intention is to create a live, calming and also curious landscape of sound; something that both takes you away, and also keeps you grounded to Earth.
Stu is a huge advocate for sound and its healing properties - whether he is listening, or creating the sounds himself, music and sound is an intricate part of his DNA.
You can listen to some of Stu's music online via Spotify (or any other streaming platform) - Stu J on Spotify.
His music online isn't what is shared in classes; this is his indie music project he does for fun.
