Join Laura in the studio on Friday, June 13th for a deep Yin practice, with Yoga Nidra embodying the Snake - the Chinese Zodiac symbol of 2025. Shed skins and layers that are no longer serving you, so you may flow with more ease.
A subtle blend of Kriya and Breath meets Yin and Yoga Nidra, as we explore the element of Metal, through the exploration of lungs and skin.

/// About This Event ///
Yin & Yoga Nidra: Year of the Snake
Laura has carefully curated this event over many months and she is very excited to offer this to the Kanuka community.
The Metal element can be a curious one to explore, as it invites us to check in with what is no longer serving us, be it beliefs, people or situations, but especially our relationship to grief and the way we hold on.
This two-hour, candle-lit journey will begin with a cup of blue lotus tea to support your meditative experience.
Consider this your mid-year check-in for 2025 - Year of the Snake.
Explore shedding skins and layers that no longer serve us or our vitality.
Using the touchstone organs of skin and lungs, we will explore our body memories and gently invite what is ready to be released to move through.
/// What To Bring? ///
Something stretchy and comfortably to move in
Warm cosy layers - socks, jumper or scarf
A cushion or blanket from home (we do have all props available in-studio for you)
A token that you might like to place at the top of your mat as a reminder
This is a two-hour event; we plan to have the class all wrapped up before the two hour timeframe so you'll be ready to leave by 8pm.
If you have any questions about the event, or about your host Laura, please get in touch with us over email or on our social channels - @kanukayoga
We look forward to hosting you soon.
